Arodamos

This truly rural resort on the Livadi Plateau in the heart of the Psiloritis mountain range is surrounded by a raw mountainous terrain abundant with apple, pear and walnut trees. It provides an opportunity to take part in the agricultural life of a region rich with traditions and cultures. Arodamos is one of only a handful of geoparks in Europe that are protected by the Natura 2000 program.

The traditional hostel of Arodamos consists of 6 individual houses built on top of a hill 1100 meters high. The houses are made from stone and wood and have been supplied exclusively from renewable energy resources. They were built respecting both the environment and the local architecture. There are 3 four-bed maisonettes (on 2 floors) and 3 three-bed ground floor houses. All are furnished with traditional furniture and furnishings and all have large fireplaces in the living room for those cold winter nights. In addition, there is a quaint restaurant with genuine home-cooking and a common room with library for playing table games, watching TV and just relaxing.
